Verification Standards

Trust is the foundation of this platform. Every user, case, and organization that accesses sensitive data must be verified before gaining that access. Below are the standards for each tier.

Community Verification

Government-issued ID or Tribal enrollment card. Email confirmation required. No law enforcement data access. Standard tip submission allowed.

Family / Reporter Verification

Identity verified against Tribal enrollment or ID. Verified relationship to the missing person required. Allows case submission and private family updates.

Tribal Government Verification

Official government email domain required. Council resolution or government letterhead on file. Community dashboard access, data audit rights, and law enforcement coordination.

Law Enforcement Verification

Government agency email required. Badge number and supervisor contact verified by our team (1–2 business days). Restricted case fields accessible. All access logged.

Case Verification

All missing person profiles are reviewed within 24–48 hours before publication
Family consent is required. A case cannot be published without verified family or next-of-kin confirmation
Law enforcement-sensitive fields (vehicle plates, exact location coordinates, witness contacts) are restricted from public view
Profiles may be temporarily restricted at the request of law enforcement if publication could compromise an active investigation
